Los Angeles County has announced that we are now permitted to reopen our doors for elementary school students this is the news we have been peep four months in advance the chassis safely reunite with students and provide them the high quality in person instruction they deserve as we prepare for our return date we want to ensure you we are ready to welcome students to clean campuses organized to keep a safe environment each of our campuses has been upgraded with new technology to preserve the health of students these new updates include a Merv air filter system touchless water bottle stations hand washing stations and covid-19 concussion kit that feature hand sanitizer mask Shields gloves thermometers and disinfectant we will host a maximum of 12 to 14 students her classroom with desks socially distance at 6 feet apart all students and staff will be required to wear a face covering students will not share school supplies or learning to to help eliminate the spread of germs classes will be deep cleaned and sanitized before and after Construction we have developed a checklist color coded system to ensure our maintenance staff can schedule each thorough cleaning as of March 1st all education employees are eligible to be vaccinated and we have courage all of our staff to receive the vaccine St John's Well Child and Family Center has partnered with us to provide covid-19 vaccination Services make easy process for our staff we are meeting at learning from other districts that have successfully and safely reopened and are excited to take our next steps learning programs will still be offered to students and families to supplement in-person instruction making our programs stronger than ever our classrooms are ready and so are our students it's time to safely reunite
