Lynwood Unified's high school programs inspire students to reach success in college and career!

is very important for us here at Firebaugh High School to offer a variety of programs for students because we all know that students in different ways we offer AP courses we offer Avid horses as well when we're very proud of is the IB Program International Baccalaureate program we have 50e avid we have a team and we also have the opportunity for students to take Community College classes for concurrent enrollment enrollment program this semester we were able to offer more classes after school through comes in college students are really interested in just getting ahead and taking college courses and being able to earn college credit and I feel credit at the same time support students I'm in many different ways ways it's to the Avid tutorial process we have College Tutors that help our students as well as Savage features that monitor the students progress through each grading. And ensuring that students are on track and meeting there a through G requirement on track for graduation as well it's really going to help you see the passwords college and what steps to take and be able to attend college where some of my family members weren't able to do so design Ceramics photography sculpture courses drawing courses giving the students opportunities to find the strengths and different types of our making creepy prepares them if they are interested in going to a p or even Art Neville to be required to think about what they're doing and why they're doing it I am involved in the guilty W engineering program I have learned many different softwares like computer automated I am so I have built models through computer and I've been able to learn how to do a 3D print these models I really want to be an engineer and this program is really helping me see a sense of what that would be like Harbor High School offers that Ibuprofen with internet Baccalaureate program the program really caters to the students needs and their talents and abilities on gaffer here at Firebaugh high school called the diploma program that students grow in these 10th race called the IB learner profile ID believe that students grow in these 10 traits they're going to help contribute to a better world in the bomber our district actually even covers most of the puppies see it with the program so it's a very unique opportunity that kids here and then would you have her free I think it's important to offer extracurricular programs to have students feel like they have a family here on our campus I'm really fine they're their Niche and their friends for all like one big family were all together as one we have super support from our staff members to admin to teachers we all support one another have shown that a student who is more involved who is more likely to have academic success so these programs help them build those relationships needed to succeed not only socially but I can definitely find their space in the school and that is important for them to feel at home and ready for success
