Lynwood High School Imperial Campus Reconstruction Set to Transform Learning Experience for Students

Lynwood Unified leaders and construction management company Huckabee are continuing to collaborate to bring the vision of the new Lynwood High School’s Imperial Campus to life while maintaining transparency with the community and providing students the highest quality education possible.

The Lynwood High School Reconstruction Project will provide students with a modernized learning environment, complete with resources to enhance their learning experience and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their academic pursuits.

These modernized facilities will feature cutting-edge technology, advanced equipment, and state-of-the-art learning spaces that foster collaboration and cater to the specific needs of today’s scholars.

The new LHS Imperial campus is confirmed to include the following features:

A culinary arts kitchen complete with eco-friendly appliances where Culinary Arts Club students will learn about modern food practices and gain hands-on experience in food preparation and service.

A science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) lab that will allow students to explore their curiosity and potential careers in a suitable environment. The lab will be complete with specialized equipment and technology, where students will engage in hands-on experiments and explore topics such as robotics, engineering and medicine.

A reconfigured sports field that will provide a safe and supportive environment for students to engage in sports and physical activities.

Three stories, 70 classrooms and approximately 175,000 square feet of space where students can learn, create and collaborate safely as they continue their academic journeys.

Lynwood Unified remains committed to helping students feel supported, engaged and challenged in their academic pursuits. Providing students with the resources and support they need to succeed is instrumental in building a thriving academic community and helping students realize their full potential and achieve their dreams.
