Rosa Parks Elementary Students Receive Engaging Lesson on Clean Energy

Rosa Parks students enjoyed a day full of enlightenment and laughter on Oct. 12 as they watched a play titled “Agents of Safety,” put on by Southern California Edison (SCE).

The colorful play taught students about the importance of mindful electricity use and safe energy. Using art to educate students on global topics is one of the District’s many efforts to encourage the community to help us create a safer, cleaner planet.

Lynwood Unified School District is grateful for the support from ECE in supporting students’ educational opportunities. During the 2021-22 school year, Firebaugh High School Alumni Luis Sanchez received a $40,000 Edison scholarship to help further his education at Stanford University.
