In celebration of National Parental Involvement Day on Nov. 17, Lynwood Unified School District prepared a series of activities and goodies such as hands-on workshops, movie nights, Zumba classes and swag bags to thank all parents, grandparents, guardians and caregivers for everything they do to ensure the success of students.
At Roosevelt Elementary School, administration and staff passed out coffee, Krispy Kreme donuts and Chick-fil-A breakfast biscuits during a drive-thru event, which featured lively music and a special appearance from the school’s mascot to greet and excite everyone.
