The Board of Education passed a resolution during an emergency board meeting on Sept. 10 that authorized the immediate removal of ceiling soffits on the 5000 building at Lynwood High School. The resolution will bypass the typical bidding process for the project, which would likely have delayed its completion.
The District already hired an independent structural engineer who continues inspecting Lynwood High buildings and will move forward on the LHS project without delay.
