Departmental Objectives

 

 

 

The objectives of the Personnel Commission are meant to direct, center, and focus the actions, goals, initiatives, and priorities of the Personnel Commission operations and are as follows: 
  1. Maintain legal compliance of personnel procedures in accordance with the principles and statutory requirements of the Merit System.
  2. Provide efficient and expeditious personnel services in support of the District at the site and departmental level.
  3. Recruit, select, and retain the most highly qualified classified staff in support of District schools, student learning and achievement.
  4. Provide promotional and professional development opportunities to Lynwood Unified School District classified staff to foster individual growth, achievement, and life betterment for classified staff.
  5. Develop and train personnel staff to provide ever-improving and cost efficient personnel services to the District.
