Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Lynwood Unified School District, where every child will be prepared for college and career!

With 12 elementary schools, three middle schools, three high schools, and preschool, adult and independent studies programs, Lynwood Unified serves more than 15,000 students. We offer a rigorous and engaging instructional program, with the strong belief that every child deserves a high-quality education that effectively prepares them for life beyond our classrooms.

Our Achieving Greatness initiative is helping us reach our mission through a well-defined college preparatory pipeline, vocational pathways, and strengthened professional support for teachers. Our strong commitment to increasing academic achievement for all students is evident in the wide variety of programs and services we offer, from dual language immersion and International Baccalaureate programs, to Engineering pathways, fine arts, athletics and more.

Moreover, under the Measure K facilities bond, we are ensuring students have access to comfortable and safe learning environments that support continued learning and growth.

We believe that strong partnerships and collaboration with our parents, staff, teachers and broader community are key to student success.

I welcome you to explore our website further to learn more about our programs, services and upcoming events. We are constantly updating this site to provide the most up-to-date information and news to keep you informed about the many great things taking place throughout Lynwood Unified.
