Lynwood Unified Champions Diversity, Honors Latino Heritage Month

Lynwood Unified is proud to celebrate Latino Heritage Month from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, which our schools kicked off with festive events and activities, including a special visit from mariachis at Will Rogers Elementary and the Fiestas Patrias celebration hosted by La Raza Club at Lynwood High School.

Throughout the month, our schools will honor rich Latino traditions and heritage through special events, celebrations and projects supported by the Equity, Access and Instructional Services Department. We look forward to sharing cultural excellence, championing diversity and recognizing our schools and clubs who are working to make this month a special one.

Latino Heritage Month will culminate with a District-wide celebration. Stay tuned!
