Lynwood Unified Elementary Students Engage in Exciting Summer Activities

Lynwood Unified School District is opening a gateway of possibilities for young learners to discover new passions and remain sharp so they can continue to excel in their academic journeys through the annual Summer Bridge program, which took place from June 20 to July 28.

Elementary school students embarked on adventures with the leadership team of Think Together, including field trips to the Los Angeles Zoo, La Brea Tar Pits, Long Beach Aquarium, Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium and more, which provided them with a dynamic learning experience and expanded their knowledge of the world around them while having fun at the same time.

On campus, students also participated in a wide variety of learning programs and exciting physical activities, including a reptile show that introduced them to the wonders of nature, a karate lesson which exercised their skills in focus, and thrilling obstacle courses that encouraged teamwork and problem-solving.

Annual summer programs are one of many ways Lynwood Unified nurtures a love for learning and encourages students to embrace their curiosity, pursue their ambitions and strive for academic excellence. Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their child into next year’s Summer Bridge program can contact their school directly for enrollment details.
