VIDEO: Lynwood Unified Remains United as Demolition Plans Unfold for Lynwood High School

Although the road to rebuilding Lynwood High School’s Imperial Campus has been filled with adversity, District leaders, staff and students have risen above the challenges with unwavering resilience. In the wake of an unexpected disaster, the Lynwood Unified community continues to shine bright and stand strong.

Recognizing the need to provide students with the high-quality education they were promised, the state granted the District $250 million to rebuild the damaged structure and benefit students for generations to come. Armed with this powerful tool, District leaders and construction management team Huckabee are collaborating to bring the dream of an improved Lynwood High School to life.

With the demolition and utilities expected to be completed in early 2024, and construction expected to begin by 2025, Lynwood Knights can anticipate returning to the Imperial Campus in 2027.
