SBAC Preparation

In order to prepare for the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) for our 3rd-8th and 11th grade students, our district has implemented the 40/40 Plan as a means to provide our students with equal access through strategic preparation. Similar to high school students preparing for the SAT, college students preparing for the GRE, and pre-medical students preparing for the MCAT, we believe it is our mission to provide our students with the best preparation possible throughout the year. The 40/40 Plan is one model that provides our students with several strategies to prepare our students. Each school has developed a plan through this model of preparation. The links below help our teachers with the plan. It is our goal that through this plan and the instruction throughout the year, will provide our students with the knowledge and skills to demonstrate their learning on the SBAC.
