Washington Elementary School students gave parents and community members a lesson in colleges and universities during the school’s student-run college fair on March 28. Students each adopted a college to research in the fall and presented their findings on large display projects that highlight programs, famous alumni, maps and fun facts about their school of study.
As students and families toured the fair, student presenters answered questions about the colleges they represented. More than two dozen colleges were showcased, from Ivy League schools and UC campuses to Cal State schools and the University of Alabama.
Enrollment data, financial aid procedures and school demographics were included at college stations to help students and families learn more about school options and admission.
